Community Partners
This year, we are partnering with two local nonprofits: Long Island Coalition for the Homeless (LICH) and NOSH Delivers!
All day back-to-school supply drive
When Cindy Campbell decided to throw a party back in the summer of 1973, her goal was to make money for new clothes for school. So, in honor of her original party that would go on to ignite Hip-Hop, we are partnering with Long Island Coalition for the Homeless (LICH) to collect NEW back-to-school supplies to fill backpacks for elementary through high school-aged students. These backpacks go to children who are living in homeless shelters on Long Island, as well as to other local nonprofits who work with vulnerable families.
- Backpacks
- Plastic folders
- Spiral notebooks
- Calculators
- Rulers
- Pencil cases
NOSH Delivers! KFIP food drive & lunch bag decoration station
Usdan is partnering with NOSH Delivers! to collect food items and decorate lunch bags for their Kids Food Independence Program (KFIP). This program supports kids/families who need meals outside of school (i.e., weekend and summer programs that don’t offer meals). Established to fight hunger during COVID, NOSH now feeds 750+ families a week from the North Shore community (Bayville, Glen Cove, Glen Head, Locust Valley, Sea Cliff). Stop by the table to donate food items and design a lunch bag!
- Cold Breakfast Mini Cereals (1 oz.)
- Ramen Instant Noodles (3 oz.)
- Potato Chips, Cheese Curls, or Popcorn Mini-Bags (1 oz.)
- Shelf-Stable Whole Milk Mini-Boxes (8 fl. oz.)
- Mac and Cheese Macaroni Microwavable Mini-Dinner (2 oz.)
