Budding artists finishing kindergarten and grade 1 get a taste of an introductory program at a more accessible price point. Led by professional artists and educators, children have experiences in Music, Art, Nature & Sustainability, Dance, Theater, and Recreational Arts, .

Usdan’s Classic Program provides an immersive arts experience and fosters friendship and shared enthusiasm among young artists in grades 2 through 12. Our Classic Program offers instruction by experienced educators and professional artists in five art disciplines and three specialty areas.

Usdan’s Recreational Camp Program provides an opportunity for campers to experience the beauty of Usdan’s wooded campus and recreational spaces, including its swimming pools and archery range, and to join Usdan's welcoming and inclusive community, while having fun, being active, and making new friends

We invite people of all ages to experience the natural beauty of our campus and the transformative power of the arts. Usdan was founded on Jewish values that inspire us to make the world more just and more beautiful. When we welcome the diverse group of passionate young artists here each summer the heart of Usdan comes alive.

When you arrive for a tour, you will be paired with a member of the Usdan community, often a current or former teacher, staff member, or Usdan alum, who can speak directly to your child's areas of study — Theater, Music, Visual Art, Chess, Dance, Creative Writing, Nature, or Recreation.

Priority enrollment opens October 6 for Summer 2027. Sit down with your young artist to pick their Major, Minor, and Recreational classes and bus location before beginning the enrollment form.

A program for high school students is designed to cultivate thoughtful, independent young adults who are becoming the next generation of leaders in the arts. All members will have a job and schedule that supports their interests and growth.

At Usdan, students in grades 2-12 choose one Major, one Minor, and one Recreation class per 4-week session. We offer Major and Minor classes in five art disciplines — Art, Creative Writing, Dance, Music, and Theater — and three specialty areas — Chess, Nature & Sustainability, and Recreational Arts.
