Usdan Online Frequently Asked Questions

How much does the program cost?

FALL SEASON

Courses (10 weeks): November 8, 2021 — January 19, 2022 (days of week vary according to course, courses will not run the week of December 27)

  • $395 per course*

Workshops: (dates vary according to workshop)

  • $30 per workshop

Private Lessons: 

  • $65 per lesson

How many students and instructors are in each course?

Group courses will have 1 or 2 instructors and 6 to 12 students. Dance classes may have up to 16 students.

Usdan Online courses require 6 students to run, so please share with your friends.

What grades are included in Usdan Online?

Usdan Online is designed for 3rd to 12th graders, based on their current grade.

While most courses are geared towards middle schoolers, Usdan will always consider allowing students outside of the listed grade ranges into courses should it be developmentally appropriate.

What is your refund policy?

Refunds will be made according to the following rules. 

A student withdrawing:

A. 3 days or more before the scheduled start of the course: Full Refund

B. 1 day before the start of the scheduled course: 10% will be retained by Usdan (Usdan must be notified by 8pm on that day)

C. After the first class: 20% will be retained by Usdan (Usdan must be notified within 5 days of the first class).

D. No refunds thereafter.

Convenience fee is non-refundable.

Are there opportunities for scholarships?

Are there material or other course requirements?

Usdan strives to limit family spending by simplifying materials required such as instruments, dance clothing, and art supplies. Any course requirements will be listed in the the course description.

Many of the art supplies required can be found around your home or at a local store. Some art classes will require specialty items such as watercolor sets, acrylic paints, or cardstock.

Do you provide opportunities for student and parent and caregiver feedback?

Usdan Online was designed based on the feedback of our current and recent past families, and it does not need to stop there. We encourage you to continue sending feedback throughout your child's course so we can improve how the program supports your children and their creative development. We will offer opportunities to submit feedback including a first day check in survey and an end-of-course survey, and we always encourage you to send comments or suggestions to enrollment@usdan.org

Do you offer private lessons?

Usdan is open to offering private lessons outside of listed options. Families who do not do not find a course that fits their child's interest can request a private course by completing the form via the button below.
