Adam Cordero & Odin Scherer have been playing music together since they met at The New School in 2017. This guitar-woodwinds duo specializes in performing jazz standards and their own original music, which has been described by composer Kirk Nurock as "lush, soaring, and healing" and reviewed highly by others. They released their first album "Ashland" on October 2, 2020-- 50% of proceeds were donated to the Latino Community Foundation’s California Wildfire Relief Fund. Their next album will be released in 2022!

James, Kyra, and Spencer met as students in the magical woods of Usdan. Usdan instilled a love of theater and learning in all of them. It also gave them a supportive network of friends that they each keep in touch with to this day (including one another). James, Kyra, and Spencer all went on to be theater professionals in their own right. See further credits below…

The Knights are a collective of adventurous musicians dedicated to transforming the orchestral experience and eliminating barriers between audiences and music. Driven by an open-minded spirit of camaraderie and exploration, they inspire listeners with vibrant programs rooted in the classical tradition and passion for artistic discovery. The Knights evolved from late-night chamber music reading parties with friends at the home of violinist Colin Jacobsen and cellist Eric Jacobsen. The Jacobsen brothers together serve as artistic directors of The Knights, with Eric Jacobsen as conductor.

The four of us have been writing and collaborating in multiple art forms regularly since the pandemic in 2020. We believe in the magic of the arts and its transcendent power to change and enlighten the individual and communities at large.
