We believe that every student who wants to attend Usdan should be able to.

  • 40% of our campers received some kind of scholarship in 2021.

FOUNDER'S SCHOLARSHIP

As of May 5, 2022: We have re-opened the Founder's scholarship application after wait listing it in mid-April. All applications after April 11 will be reviewed in the order the applications came in. If you have not yet applied, we still encourage you to do so.

Our Founder’s Scholarship provides partial tuition assistance for our 8-week, 4-week A, and 4-week B sessions. We do not offer Founder’s Scholarships for our 1-week Recreational Camp. To apply, you complete a simple online form via the button below. Families are often surprised they qualify, so we encourage you to apply to find out if yours does.

If your child received a scholarship for Summer 2021 and you did Return2U, you should have received a unique promo code on Friday, November 12 to apply the same scholarship percentage for Summer 2022.

Should you have questions about our Founder's Scholarship, please email enrollment@usdan.org.

SUNFLOWER SCHOLARSHIP

In an effort to assist the social and emotional well-being of children and families escaping conflict in Ukraine who are arriving in New York, Usdan is offering Ukrainian refugee children the opportunity to attend camp this summer on a full scholarship.

Named after Ukraine's national flower, which has become a symbol of resistance, the Sunflower Scholarship is open to refugee children ages 5 to 18 for any session length this summer.

In addition, scholarships are available for the children of local residents who are housing Ukrainian refugee children. We hope to do all we can to alleviate the struggles these children face – to give them the opportunity to be in nature, join a welcoming community, connect with other students, and make art this summer.

If you know a recently arrived Ukrainian child currently living on Long Island or in New York City who is in need of a summer camp experience, please reach out to us.

UNIQUELY U SCHOLARSHIP

Uniquely U is a celebration of creativity and self-expression. Students who have just completed grades kindergarten through 12 are welcome to apply. To apply, students complete a simple form and submit a five-minute video showing us what makes them unique. At least seven students receive a full eight-week scholarship to Usdan and a 75% scholarship for each year following they are eligible to attend. Finalists and semi-finalists receive partial scholarships.

APPLICATION CLOSED: The application period ended Friday, April 8, 2022 for kindergarten through 12th graders. Click the button below to learn more.
