THE ONLINE STUDIO
Through Usdan Online, Zoom rooms are transformed into online studios providing a space for students to expand their creative practice, take risks, and make positive connections. Online classes are structured to encourage creativity, engagement, and collaboration.
At the start of the course, each online studio will unite as a group to create their own list of community agreements that focus on respect and empathy. Online studio etiquette will be addressed and is of high importance to the success of the online studio space.
Take a closer look below and on our YouTube channel at the awesome art-making that has taken place so far in our online studios.
CELEBRATING WORK & ONLINE COMMUNITY EVENTS
Teachers will invite parents and caregivers to join their child’s course on the last day for a celebration and sharing of work.
At the end of the Fall 2020 session, Usdan will host a culminating event in celebration of our creativity expressed by our students in their online studios. Mark your calendars for our fall edition of Usdan Happy Hours on Wednesday, January 13 at 4:30 PM.

- Tell your friends about Usdan Online
- Send them to usdan.org/online
- Provide them promo code: FRIEND
- Upon enrollment, have them enter the promo code as well as your full name in the "Friend Referral" field
- Your friend will automatically receive a 10% discount off their total tuition cost
- We will contact you and apply a 10% discount to the tuition you've already paid, or the cost of an additional course
Note: This promotion cannot be combined with any other discount. Both families must be enrolled in order to receive the discount.
Are there material or other course requirements?
Usdan strives to limit family spending by simplifying materials required such as instruments, dance clothing, and art supplies. Any course requirements will be listed in the parent notes section of the course description.
Many of the art supplies required can be found around your home or at a local store. Some art classes will require specialty items such as watercolor sets, acrylic paints, or cardstock. The Usdan faculty has created a list of recommended items and brands, which you can access here.
Feel free to email@example.com with any questions.
Do you provide opportunities for student and parent and caregiver feedback?
Usdan Online was designed based on the feedback of our current and recent past families, and it does not need to stop there. We encourage you to continue sending feedback throughout the summer so we can improve how the program supports your children and their creative development. We will offer opportunities to submit feedback including a first day check in survey and an end-of-course survey, and we always encourage you to send comments or suggestions to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Do you offer private lessons?
Usdan is open to offering private and small group courses outside of listed options. Families who do not do not find a course that fits their child's interest can request a private or small group course, such as chess or private music lessons, by emailing email@example.com.
