This week was bursting with Usdan traditions that united our community of over a thousand campers and staff, while also celebrating what makes each of us unique.

We are still beaming from the all of the joy and creative risk-taking we saw this week.
We jumped into the week by welcoming our 4-Week B Classic and Week 5 Recreational Camp friends. Students flowed off the buses and out of their cars, grabbed a campus map at the Welcome Table, waved "hello" to old and new friends, and thus began or continued their journey at Usdan for the summer.

In an effort to assist the social and emotional well-being of children and families escaping conflict in Ukraine who are arriving in New York, Usdan has given 13 Ukrainian refugee children the opportunity to attend camp this summer on a full scholarship.

Hats off to all of the young risk-takers this week.
With Theater Shows, Student Festival Performances, and Open Studios all week long, over 250 students embraced vulnerability by sharing their creativity with an audience. They were given true agency to harness their voice and genuine opportunity to develop their own artistic perspective and style.
