Warren joined the Usdan Theater faculty in 1998 and is returning for his 19th summer teaching as a musical director and piano accompanist. He has also served as co-director of Last Day Cabaret, sound designer and pit orchestra trombonist & keyboardist. He was musical director and bass & beatboxer for the professional vocal group Hyannis Sound, and is an alum of the BMI Musical Theater Workshop. Warren has been the general music teacher at P.S. 8 in Brooklyn Heights since 2011, contributes to arts education research projects for the NYC DOE, and has been a judge for the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (and its related high-school and adult competitions) since 2002. B.A. majoring in musicology from Brandeis Univ; M.M. in media scoring & production from Univ. of Miami’s Frost School of Music; M.A. in music education from Hunter College. Member, NAfME and NYSSMA.
