Safia Fatimi

Dr. Safia Fatimi received her degrees from Rochester Institute of Technology and Teachers College, Columbia University. She has worked as a secondary art educator at various public high schools in New York. Safia has been included in various group and solo exhibitions throughout her career. Currently, she teaches photography and filmmaking at Great Neck South High School on Long Island. Her current artistic practice focuses on digital photographic montage, portraiture, collage, and most recently self-portraits. She will begin on the Usdan team this summer 2025. During her free time, Safia enjoys tennis, yoga, reading, traveling, and visiting museums and galleries.
