Kelly Vaghenas

This is Ms. Kelly’s second year teaching tap at USDAN and her first year teaching Broadway jazz. She teaches various styles of dance at studios around Long Island, and she has taught for brief periods of time in Greece, Jordan, and Kenya. Recent performance credits include a trip to Guatemala to perform Bollywood dance with ARYA Dance Academy. Ms. Kelly holds a BFA in dance and a BA in anthropology from Montclair State University. In May 2022, she earned an MA in cultural heritage management from Johns Hopkins University. Her cultural research work includes writing foreign culture training material for the U.S. Navy. In August-September 2022, she was a crew member on an archaeological excavation in Miami. Fun fact: She is an amateur painter!
