Douglas Shankman

Doug Shankman began working with USDAN in 2022 as a Lead Tap Dance Instructor. He is the Artistic Director of Contemporary Dance Arts and dedicated to creating new works for Theater, Film, Television and Web based series. Since 2000, Doug has been teaching the art of tap dancing at Broadway Dance Center and various Universities, performing arts schools and Dance Conventions. Doug is currently workshopping a new contemporary ballet with song and text inspired by the Tales of the Sovereign Plumed Serpent.
