Brian Sweeney

Brian Sweeney is a Long Island-based pianist, composer, and musical director. Recent production credits include Mamma Mia, Forever Plaid, The Mad Ones, and A Chorus Line. He has had multiple original works presented as part of the New York Theater Festival, one of which received a nomination for Best Musical. Brian has also contributed music and lyrics to Turkeys Go On Strike, A Big Bad Wolf Story, and Butterfly: The Story of a Life Cycle. When he’s not writing or directing, Brian coaches aspiring musical theatre actors at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Manhattan. He also sings and arranges for an amateur a cappella group called Tacoppella.
