Amelia grew up in Reno, Nevada and left home at the age of 15 to study ballet at the North Carolina School of the Arts where she graduated from high school. She then switched gears and received her B.A. in Performance at Fordham University, Lincoln Center and her M.F.A in Acting from the American Repertory Theatre at Harvard University. Before graduating from Fordham, Amelia was cast in the Broadway production of The Man Who Came To Dinner starring Nathan Lane. Amelia lived in the Washington D.C. area for several years and choreographed, directed and taught dance and theatre for several wonderful organizations, including Imagination Stage. She recently returned to NY to jump back into her acting career, continue to choreograph and of course, teach! During the year, Amelia works at Ballet Tech in Manhattan. This is Amelia's first year at Usdan and she is thrilled to be here and cannot wait to meet her students. Fun fact: Amelia is half-Argentinian, her mother being from Buenos Aires!
